It’s no secret that we like our homemade eggnog, but after spending the last year getting into the best shape possible (and reaping the health benefits to make all that hard work worth the effort), we’re interested in choosing our holiday indulgences carefully this year.
We’re still going to make our traditional nog, but we’re going to lean on this new recipe quite heavily through the holidays. Our goal is to get to January 1st with all of our 2016 fitness accomplishments intact.
Here’s our recipe for Lean Eggnog:
4 cups unsweetened almond milk (or regular milk if your prefer it)
1 cup Egg Whites
3 tablespoons sugar fee vanilla pudding mix
2 tablespoons pure vanilla
Stevia (to taste)
Mix all ingredients but the nutmeg in a blender.
To serve: Shake, pour into glasses, and mix each helping with a dash of rum, brandy, or both.
Top with the nutmeg.
